This 3-hour course is the third in a series of three courses on RF modulation. This course covers de-modulation techniques for all forms of modulation mentioned in volumes I and II of this series including CW, amplitude, frequency, phase, and pulse modulation.

• Identify the requirements for recovering intelligence from an AM signal.
• Describe the theory of operation of AM demodulators.
• Explain the operation of FM demodulation circuits for phase-shift and gated-beam discriminators and ratio-detector demodulators.
• Identify the purpose of a regenerative detector.
• Describe how a slope detector aids in demodulating FM signals.
