This course is intended for architects, environmental engineers and anyone else interested in knowing about the process of mold development in buildings. The objective of the course is to outline the evaluation method for designing and building composite walls in different climatic zones and to give a tool for the designers to avoid mold development. Case studies highlight the pitfalls of inappropriate wall section designs.

This course has no specific prerequisites; however knowledge of psychrometrics is a plus in understanding the physics of vapor migration and condensation.
