Kelly Sobczak, P.E. has over 30 years of experience in project management, auditing, management systems, and regulatory compliance. She possesses extensive knowledge of federal and state regulations, including the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), Clean Water Act (CWA), and other resource protection regulations.
Kelly has conducted audits at hundreds of facilities in the U.S. and internationally, including military bases, civilian agency facilities, airports, steel mills, refineries, asphalt plants, oil terminals, E&P facilities (both active and shut-in wells), compressor stations, sulfuric acid production and regeneration facilities, lube oil production, power plants, manufacturing facilities, TSDF facilities, and numerous other types of facilities.
She is experienced with a wide variety of management systems, including ISO 14001, the National Enforcement Investigations Center (NEIC) compliance-focused Environmental Management System (EMS), Occupational Health and Safety Systems (OHSAS 18001), API RP 75 for Offshore Operations and Facilities, and numerous company-specific systems.
