Dana DeMeo, P.E.

Dana DeMeo, P.E., has over 28 years of experience in engineering design, program management and general management. He graduated from NYU Polytechnic with a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in New York.

Dana specializes in the design and manufacture of electromechanical products sold to the life safety, industrial, consumer and advanced transportation markets. He has experience with rugged mechanical and electrical products in harsh environments, such as firefighter equipment, vehicular systems, advanced mobile computing and portable data capture devices.

Dana has held positions such as Design Engineer, Chief Engineer, Chief Technical Officer, Global Director of Engineering and Senior Leader of R&D. He has experience with designs for low and high-volume manufacturing across both start-up and Fortune-100 companies. He enjoys teaching, mentoring and presenting, and has authored over 1000 pages in various periodicals and manuals.

Dana enjoys studying and experimenting with Web 3.0 applications, including blockchain, cryptocurrency mining and smart contracts. He is an investor and participant in various blockchain projects.
