Pliny J. Olivier, P.E.
Pliny Olivier, P.E. has over 25 years’ experience working with valves and steam generation. In 2001, he co-founded an engineering company and has served as the Engineering Manager and Sales Manager. He has designed and managed turn-key retrofits, and troubleshooted valves and valve systems.
In 2011, Mr. Olivier has performed as a Consulting Engineer, primarily doing work in Guyana and Fiji in sugar mills. He has troubleshooted chronic valve and actuation issues and offered recommendations for remediation, as well as trained local plant personnel to identify and repair problems independently.
He received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Florida, Gainesville in 1992, and has attended multiple training seminars involving control valves and safety valves.
